Metro Pacific Iloilo Water (MPIW) has completed a Php 7 million pipeline project, providing potable water to nearly 1,500 residents in Sitio Ilaya, Barangay Tabuc Suba, and Barangay San Isidro, Iloilo City.
The project includes a 925-meter pipeline with 150-mm diameter pipes, addressing the area’s reliance on shallow wells which is prone to contamination.
MPIW, in collaboration with the Iloilo City Government and MIWD,already completed PHP25 million in service improvement and expansion for the city, including the newly inaugurated project. Additionally, five ongoing projects amounting to Php 400 million, and four more projects costing Php 350 million set to begin later this year, all projects aimed to improve the water service in Iloilo City.
