Donation to JBLFMU May 2023

MIWD has demonstrated its commitment to the welfare of the Ilonggo people by partnering with John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University (JBLFMU) for the Building a Healthy Community project. On May 4, 2023, the MIWD turned over 7,716 packs of powdered milk and 125 hygiene kits to support this initiative. MIWD and JBLFMU have a history of working together to promote community health and water conservation.

The turnover ceremony was attended by members of the MIWD Climate Change and Resilience Committee, including Chairperson of the Board of Directors, Ms. Rebecca Maravilla, OIC-General Manager Ms. Janalle Manejero, and Engineer Ernesto Suplido. The CEO of JBLFMU, Dr. Raymond Sebastian, and his trusted staff were also present.

The partnership between MIWD and JBLFMU demonstrates their unity in maintaining a healthy and resilient community for the Ilonggos.
