Iloilo City Treasurers Office formally receives 2M for COVID19 Relief

The City Mayor’s Office officially receives the cheque worth 2 Million Pesos from Metro Iloilo Water District as donation for its COVID-19 relief efforts. The MIWD and the City Government Office previously had a MOA signing the previous week—via online Zoom teleconferencing—for the turn over of the 2 Million donation to the City Government.

The August 9 MOA signing was attended by, among others, by Iloilo City Mayor himself, the Honorable Jerry Treñas and Councilor Jam Baronda. On the MIWD side were the Board of Directors headed by Chairperson Rebecca Maravilla, as well as management from MIWD including OIC-General Manager Amarylis J. Castro.
