MIWD Participates In Tree Bagging Activity

MIWD joins in on the Metro Pacific Iloilo Water-led Tree Bagging Activity at the Iloilo City Garden of Love, Brgy. Nabitasan, Lapaz, last June 19, 2026. This would be the first time that the MIWD and its JV company for water distribution, the MPIW, have coordinated with the Iloilo City General Services Office (GSO) and also the first seedling-bagging activity it has participated in.

A total of 350 volunteers from different stakeholder agencies—including those from the Metro Iloilo Bulk Water Supply Corporation, the Iloilo City GSO, Iloilo City Environmental and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) and the Iloilo City Greening and Beautification Office—participated in the seedling bagging activity, and managed to pot 5,000 seedlings, readying them for the different tree-planting activities across Iloilo City.
