PIA features MIWD in Kapihan sa Bagong Pilipinas

The “Kapihan sa Bagong Pilipinas” is a weekly forum organized by the Presidential Communications Office through the Philippine Information Agency to amplify public understanding and engagement in the national government’s programs and projects. Their live recorded interviews can be found in the Philippine Information Agency’s social media sites.

Joining in on the 27th episode of Kapihan sa Bagong Pilipinas is the Metro Iloilo Water District and Metro Roxas Water District, the two key players in ensuring access to reliable, safe and sustainable water services in Western Visayas.

During the episode, MIWD General Manager Alfredo L. Tayo III, CESE and MRWD Corporate Planning and Internal Audit Division manager Donnalee D. Deondo presented the accomplishments, focused projects and activities, and the ways forward of the two water districts.

They also shared the best practices of each office in improving services, especially on the continuous improvement of water utility facilities, preparations on climate change conditions like the effects of the El Niño and La Niña phenomena and being a customer-centered institution.

The two officials are joined by the board members and other staffs of the MIWD and MRWD.
